25 Deastro Posters
Deastro is a very prolific and DIY musical project/prodigy founded and fronted by Detroit, MI native Randolph Chabot. DJG is a fan of the music Chabot is producing and also inspired by his out-put and all-around artistic endeavors. To honor this, DJG made 25 posters for the November 20, 2009 Deastro concert at Czar Bar in Kansas City, MO. Started as a series of self-portraits titled “Reflections at the Mouth of the Beast”, DJG figured they would adapt well for show posters.
Unfortunately, poster printing resources are dead at the moment, but there have been some little prints popping up. Supporting the show are two Max’s. One is London, UK’s Max Tundra and the other is Kansas City’s Max Justus. It can be safe to say that Czar Bar might be maxed out that night (in more ways than one), so you better get there early.
